There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.

Are they mating with the same 2 kambula girls ( one of them is infertile and one is too young I guess) for past 3 months. It's a shame. It's more than 3 months since their takeover of londolozy and they could manage to get only 2 girls.
Where are the 3 prime kambula lionesses ( the 3 mothers of 11 cubs out of which 4 are alive)?
Are they even in SS or lost in deep knp??

See, by each passing day, nwaswitshaka male are giving more chance to other coalition. Kambula boys are getting stronger, gaining experience with each passing day. And most importantly, londolozy is their home turf. From their very ffirst day, they have lived here only.

We all know how mopogos had treated RC males and their cubs/subs in their hhome turf ( sparta pride) back in 2009.

Plus kambula will have head count advantage too like mapogos ( obviously iff all of the subs make it to adulthood).
With oneone Or may be two comrades will never take part in active skirmishes, nwaswitshakas should start start search for rest of kambula girls or even ffor 6 young kambula females of break away pride. ( they are alalso 3-3.5 yrs old).
Time is slipping from their hands
Yes.  It has been the same two Kambulas lionesses.  K6, the infertile lioness and K4 and she’s not too young.  She’s already been a mother.  All 6 Kambula lionesses are adults and except for K6 have all born cubs already.

Three Kambulas and the 4 surviving cubs are staying low.  Nhenha moves back and forth between them and at times with a few sub adults.

The last Kambula, K5 is the one that’s been escorting the subadults and is mother to the youngest sun adults of the Pride.

They are long death though and hardly relevant to the current lion dynamics. With most of the important news cramped in just this one thread for some reason. It would help if we kept atleast those sorts of posts in their relevant threads.

The poor prides are getting snowed under as it is.

From 1:39 Othawa Pride with the Tumbela males. Again, Skorro jr showing his playful side with his and Limper's cubs. What a fantastic sighting!

Othawa's sole male cub. Great to see him looking well, along with his 2 sisters and 3 female cousins.

The darker one I think, they both seems to have the same spot pattern on that side. but the blonder male has a scar on the front of his nose right side

Some Kambula breakeaway's moving further south might actually benefit here, definitely more breathing room for her.
