I guess luckily for the NK male, the Plains Camp Males might still be receptive to having another coalition partner, they were a few months ago. There's also the new male to join with.

Its a pity, they would have made a good coalition for the Mhangeni. I guess the girls disagreed.

I don't think Nym is in good terms with the Plain Camps males at the moment.

Such a shame, just as they started to "establish" themselves in ex OM territory and would prob be only a matter of time to took Mhangenis.

Also Styx was a beauty, shame we will not see him in all his glory in prime years..

For NK, idk, thats definitely a hit, he is at the beggining now, we where so happy when he and Styx form a coalition, but i guess this generation of Styx's where not meant to be, only 1 female left now from Bboys offspring..

NK is definitely a survivor and will be fine, but its a stepback for his ambitions to become dominant any time soon.

This also shows us how fragile life in the wild is, 1 wrong hunt, 1 wrong clash/move and you are gone..

Not another one gone!! How many losses in just a few Months!  Nkuhuma male is alone once again.

Apparently, it may have been caused by the Nkuhuma male during skirmish.
I read it could have been the Nkuhuma male that did it during a skirmish over food etc.
It would make sense for it to be Mangheni females before they were chased off. All the clues point to that scenario.
Lets see what info we can

You know how some males play tug of war with scraps of meat and often are on top and walking all over each other whilst holding on? Well i heard it was the Nkuhuma male that did it during a skirmish over food.
Im waiting to hear back from a contact in SS to see if it indeed true.

Dont think NK male would bite him in his groin area.. It was prob caused by Mhangeni females..

The part about the incident started at 8:16 in the video. Though its mostly about the Nkuhuma male being filmed alone a while ago. Suggesting they split up before then.
I guess the coalition fell apart and Sym being forced to survive alone picked a fight outside of his size range.

The groin area is a good spot to attack to eliminate a male. Even if he lives it bumps him down all the way to the lowest rank in a coalition.
The same sort of injury cost the Tano Bora coalition their leader recently.

Is this the same Nkuhuma male lion that abandoned Big Boy Mhangeni unexpectedly? If so, that this is the second time he got involved in such incidents is worrying.

@Tr1x24

That was what i thought too. Its more likely caused by Manghenis. But i was told otherwise. Just waiting to hear back

The footage is unrelated to the incident

Londo blog
"We end off with the Nkuhuma Young Male resting on a termite mound watching a herd of buffalo from a distance, this story was from a little while ago but we felt, that due to the mysterious death of his coalition partner the Styx Young Male, both known as the Nwalungu Males now, we should put it out."

Random other news, Diff Marimane mentioned on Facebook that the Tumbelas and Othawa pride were attacking Scar this morning. He's not sure why they did that.

It could be a food scrap. He is not strong enough to fight for his share of the meat right now. So he has to wait for leftovers.

Someone sent me these, mentioned it might actually be that new male that they beat up. Which would make more sense!
