Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Yes, lionesses tried to save cubs from N. Avocas and went nomadic.

No, Styx pride was forced out Torchwood pride. Shame that we do not have MAla Mala raports from that peroid of time anymore, but there were 2 or so raported (possibly more unseen) interactions between Torchwood and Styx prides in northern Mala Mala which was for years core territory of Styx pride in which Styx pride had some fatal casualtis to much bigger Torchwood pride. After that Styx pride decided to move out of the arena.

It could be one of the reasons, but Torchwood pride after that didn't moved into Styx's territory so i wouldn't said it was only because of that, Styx territory was vacant since they become nomadic until now 1 year ago when N. Avocas and Nkuhumas moved in..

Bboys abandoning them and N. Avocas putting pressure from north was definitely bigger reason, if they stayed there, they would be taken over by Avocas and those 1, 1.5 yrs old cubs would be in danger.

Nah. By that time Avocas were not moving on territory of Styx pride. There was no pressure neither from Avocas nor Nkuchuma pride on the Styx pride what so ever. Torchwood pride by that time on the other hand was seen quite a lot (in comparison to how much time they spend there now) in northern Mala Mala and it is can not be coincidance that Styx pride abandoned their territory after some loses to Torchwood pride.

Styx's become nomadic after Bboys abandoned them and N. Avocas came in on Bboys territory, that is not coincidence..

Avocas took arena around Djuma with Nkuchuma pride. They haven't been venturing into Styx pride's territory. Also that would have to be huge amount of pressure to force pride out of their territory so it is not even like it could happened, just haven't been reported. Moreover in fact even through Birminghams left their old territorys behind, they were still fairly in control over northern Londolozi and Mala Mala untill edge of 2019 and 2020 when Avocas started to shift their territory towards south.

Birminghams where never in control of northern MalaMala and Northern Londolozi after they settle with Kambulas , only Nhenha was occasionaly venturing north to visit Tsalalas. That area was vacant since Styx pride become nomadic and until Avocas started moving there in early 2020 with Nkuhumas..

About that body of NK subadult, it was on MalaMala, just to clarify that NK pride doesn't enter that area, right?

North west MalaMala should belong to the Nkuhumas, they might control even more now with bboy vs avoca stuff

Even if the land was not under their control. He likely wasn't able to keep up with his pride and ended up there wandering around.

Out of curiosity, anybody know how many currently living males there are in Kruger that originate from Sabi?

Nkuhumas returned to Djuma today and brought the cubs along with Mohawk and Blondie who haven't stepped into Djuma for more than a year now

Othawa Female Badly Injured - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZCpNuIzmjsM

This morning we found one of the Othawa females and she looked to have been in a serious altercation with other Lions, but with who? The whole pride were on a Waterbuck Kill yesterday. Last night a huge commotion was heard and this morning this is what we found. The two Nwalungu Males were very close to this area and roaring as they moved off further east into neighbouring Singita. It may have been them and hopefully the other two Othawa females moved the 6 Cubs off to safety.
