Not 100% sure but seems that lioness is the Sparta and her cub.

The presence of Sand River male within Salati pride may come in handy in such situations. I hope he will stick with those two females from some time.

From Savanna Private Game Reserve. I am not sure who the male is. I presume it is Styx male, but might be Nkuchuma male with his sister.

He lost some condition as he is nomad now, as 5th Mantimahle abandon them, and their mothers left with S. Avocas, hope he makes it, it will be hard, i think he is around 2.5 - 3 yrs old (no more then 3).

No info about his 5 sisters and 2 brothers (1 brother was seen with him in Sabi Sabi not long ago).

How have the Mhangeni increased to 6 members? A year or so back they were down to 3 from the original Tsalala Breakaway pride. Where did the new lionesses come from? If they are cubs of the original lionesses, who sired them and how old are they?

2 females of the 12 sub-adults fathered by the majingalane were able to join their mothers.

I read somewhere that a Lion can be identified by the spots on his nose because they are permanent . If that is true that is not the same Lion . or do I not understand nose spots ?

Singita will do live stream safari, maybe they will find and show us Othawa Male.

"This week we launched our Virtual Game Drives - live wildlife sightings broadcast on Instagram by our Resident Photographer, Ross Couper. In just a couple of videos from Singita Sabi Sand in South Africa, we've seen a leopard and her cubs, rhinos and buffalos sharing a waterhole, a bull elephant paddling in the Sand River, a pod of hippos, a herd of zebra and, just this morning, a pack of endangered wild dogs finishing off a kill.
•
We are also posting daily Instagram Stories from the wilderness in an effort to transport you to Africa through your phone and immerse you in the incredible landscapes under our care. We hope that they bring you a few moments of joyful distraction.
•
You can watch today's Story to learn how to watch the Virtual Game Drives on Instagram Live (which are available for 24 hours after the Live stream) or access our "This Week" highlight to see the other wildlife Stories we've posted since Monday."
