BBoys son, may be Mfumo. There is only one male in Nkuhuma boys.
The other boy with the Nkuhumas is a Mhangeni boy who was sired by Golden Mane ... good on the Nukuhmas for accepting him into their pride ... at least he will have another boy to venture off with because all the other Mhangeni boys are gone ... there are 2 sisters that went back to the natal pride and 1 sister that went missing.

MALA MALA TODAY: February 1-3. Lions: At the end of our last report we mentioned that the body of an unidentifiable lion was found in the Tjellahanga River. Well, we have since gathered some clues. The STYX PRIDE were found in Kapen Open Area on Friday and 2 members were missing: a lioness and one of the youngsters. A few of the members also sported new battle-scars. They were seen again near Emsagwen Open Area on Saturday and were still 2 members shy. All 19 members of the Kambula (NTSEVU) Pride and the 3 Gowrie (BIRMINGHAM) Males spent Friday along our airstrip and they were all, barring one male, in front of Sable Camp today.

That is leaving 7 sub adults to be raised by only 2 lionesses. I hope they do not share fate of last Mhangeni generation.

MALAMALA TODAY: 19th-21st April

We recorded sightings of 3 prides of lions. The Eyrefield pride in the south. The Torchwood pride are venturing ever closer to the Sand River as close as Campbell Koppies. The Kambula pride and the Gowrie male lion coalition have been spending time along the Sand River between the three camps and West Street Bridge

MALAMALA TODAY: 25th-28th

Lions: The most noteworthy news is that the Styx pride have finally returned from their western escapade. The 11 pride members were found in the Rock Drift Donga feeding on a carcass. The four lionesses and the 12 cubs from the Kambula Pride were in the Sand River near Maxims Lookout, 2 lionesses were in the area of Charleston North Crossing. The Gowrie coalition have been with the lionesses of the Kambula pride. We must report that the one male with the injury, is rapidly losing condition. The two males from the Avoca coalition have been seen twice, near Jock Walk and Hammerkop Drive. Three sub-adults lions from the Torchwood Pride were along the northern reaches of the Mlowati RIver.
