African lioness hunting camels in Amboseli National Park, Kenya!
According to the author, a Masai herder brought his camels into the park to use a watering hole before leaving them unattended.

3 lionesses feeding on a Crocodile kill:

In that posting there is text: Crocodile fights off 3 lions. I think, that it should be, 3 lions banish crocodile. That short footage is from longer video and is related to situation, where lion pride is on elephant carcass and crocodile comes too close :) It is interesting how same situation can be made to look like totally opposite. Those lions obviously weren´t hunting there.

Here is original footage and in youtube is also description about the course of events.

Pregnant Rhino vs. 3 Lions , Unusual behaviored hippo resting on savanna land instead of lake grabbed a lioness head with its tusks for disturbing it. Lioness was lucky to escape. Other videos like Mother Grizzly chasing down a moose etc.., are embedded.

(P.S. Videos are at the bottom of the site...)

@Sanju:

About #532: pregnant rhino may be... But big-horned rhino too ! The African rhino always seem to me much more horned (and they are more horned) and swifter than the Asian rhinos. These 3 lions, still young, had no one chance on land. They could think winning the jackpot by seeing it at first stuck into the mud but... it was an illusion !

Yeah! I forgot to mention that the Black rhino is female and pregnant. Even those three lions, given a chance to hunt Asian rhino. They can't do that coz those sub adults are inexperienced and one horned rhinos are vicious too! (IMO) (lol, that bigger male juvenile was too timid Laughing but may be one day he can become a powerful leader to his own conquered pride)

That was quite impressive. Just "diving in" and taking one. Maybe he thought, that when so many people watching and filming he has to show how it´s done :)

Actually I was laughing at point 1:20 or something like that, when that lion stands up with that gnu and looks like almost posing a few seconds there with prey. Then even loses that gnu twice after that before taking it properly down :) It reminded me, what Kathlee111 wrote in animal trainers thread about his male lion Tsavo: "he liked showing off his roar and mane and general good looks, very proud of himself. He had some sulky teen angst around 3 or 4 when he was moodiest."

This was looking just like that. First pretentious hunt and catch, then standing up in the middle of running antelopes and posing awhile holding prey nonchalantly and like thinking "can you get a good photo now, is my mane looking good?" . Then losing grip of gnu and "f**k!!", catching it again. Then like letting it go again and showing "oh, I was just playing, look how easily I catch it third time". I mean look how it goes a few steps and turns like waiting, that gnu runs towards it before it makes that final catch Grin

And that final catch of Gnu "Look, I go down and use only my left paw, you see?  I hope, that you are filming this...."  Grin
