Londolozi Virtual Safari. Ntsevu/Kambula lioness with three young cubs. Footage taken at the end of October.

Looks like the three youngest Kambula cubs we've seen in previous videos. Sean said this is one of the Birmingham daughters, and this is her first litter. For the life of me I can't figure out which Kambula girl this is.

Brief clip at the beginning of a breakaway Kambula lioness at Campbell Koppies, where she has apparently given birth. No shot of the cubs though. Credits to Mala Mala.

This is a very leopard-esque densite. Wouldn't have thought a lion could get up there.

Yes, its one of the three Originbals that are separated from the Core. Londolozi is already calling them a breakaway since its been almost a year since they have not returned to the pride.

Who's the father(s) of these cubs?

So they are a breakaway pride how unfortunate the cubs won’t know eachother and this could cause problems later on

@criollo2mil K6 was with the core pride as mentioned by MalaMala's latest monthly report.

I also don't think there's almost 1 year they haven't all been sighted together, I think maybe 6 months or so, one of the older females lost her previous cubs on the core pride because they were all feeding together after all.

Although people believe that those 3 young males are littermates, I dont think K5 male is.

His face features and body type are so much different then K4 and K3, who also look very similar to Nhenha, while K5 is not, he looks more similar to Tinyo.

Maybe K2 female is his mother.

I think that only suggests that the same lioness mated with both males. Not that they arent the same litter.

I am not sure when k2 female gave birth to her daughters but I think that would mean k5 is older then k2 and k4 idk about that but I have no idea… but it makes sense k1 and k2 are the older two and the potentially 3 littermates are together with the youngest I would think k5 would’ve been with the older boys maybe or at least he’d be bigger and more developed but that might be his mother

@Tr1x24 guessing such a thing based on looks only doesn't make sense especially since being a littermate is far from confirmation that they are full brothers.

They can be littermates and have different fathers, in fact, within cats, chances are big for this to happen.

A popular exemple would be Mr.T and KT who were littermates but while KT is almost a carbon copy of the Scarnosed WSM and the Rollercoaster who was killed by a croc, Mr.T however strongly resembles the Torn Nose WSM.

Although in the end, since Tinyo and Nhenha are related, it's also not impossible for a son of Nhenha to resemble Tinyo.
