K11?) supposedly had a 5 males litter among the very first ones in the pride, but they were orphaned too soon, too little to make it, so none did (5 is impractical number to raise them all to independence with losing any cub early on and significant food drain in case of 5 males if they would had time to latched on the support of the rest of the pride, so it is not like we can just say there could be even 5 more males growing up, but interesting how many male cubs were in Ndzhenga's first litters in back then still united big Kambula pride; and how fewer is there in considerably smaller Ntsevu one now - small sample, but interesting considering how many mammal species notably deviate from the average ratio due to surrounding and situations the offsprings are being born into).

I think is time to let these lions go. Is done. There is no point in talking about the past, but the present lions. It is interesting what you said. I was counting and there is 5 female lion cubs in the Kambula pride and with the Kambula mothers. The Mahangeni pride had 5 females and 5 male lion cubs. Is strange how there is 7 cubs sub adults in the Mahangeni, but the Southern Avoca is around and what about the Nukhuma male lion and the Talamatie male lion? I wonder if the Mahangeni ever call the Plain camp male lions. Maybe they were avoiding them with all the cubs they have. With Gingerella it seems they are always eating and they are together but they are only 4 and two are young cubs.

Talking about lions, past, present, and future, is what we do here. How are we to learn anything, if we do not learn of what has happened before? The point is to not forget them, and simply write them off when they are gone, but to remember them, and discuss those things as well.

We just have difference in opinion and feelings. For example all the lions may they rest. I just had a feeling I shouldn’t. There is just no point may they rest, but they are gone. Regarding speculation. We all love lions. I love all lions and animals hoping for the best and the strength for everyone. I like discussing through their cubs and the present lions. I really do hope all the cubs can make it to adulthood.

Pride was headed back south after making a giraffe kill. Believe they were at Chitwa Chitwa.

Kambulas having a feeding frenzy on a poor impala ram, in Malamala. The cubs are learning the way of the scrum, here. I am not sure which female she is, but at 2:40, there is a lighter colored (at least in the video, perhaps lighting), giving some of the cubs a little of the what for, that lioness has an absolutely enormous head, even compared to the other adults in the scrum

Shame about the tourists who just don't seem to be able to shut up, and feel the need to verbalise a running commentary, as if they're watching a sports game. And the guy that yelled 'yeah' when the lion was tossed by the buffalo, and seemed to want them to win - I can't stand people like this. You know he most likely eats meat himself. When the ranger said 'the lions need to eat too', that seemed to shut him up. What a dumbass. And the woman that kept saying 'pathetic' - I think she should get out the vehicle and go have a go herself.

Previously injured Ntsevu lioness is recovering. Getting a drink after having a meal, her cubs are alive as well.
