Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.

So relieved K4 is recovering. I really thought he was a goner! As someone who has the most faith in these resilient animals my emotions got the best of me!! Hahaha!

I wouldn't say he's fully out of the woods yet.  He still has to keep a low profile and there are so many male groups around that it's going to take some time, and for his brothers to get their $#... together.

Hopefully the PC males and Ndzengas are too occupied with each other right now, and the Mantimahle males distracted by the Imbali breakaway and Nharu lionesses.

Some months ago Djuma cam spotted a big male ( I believe it was the Hamilton male )with two younger ones
What was made of them after? Unlikely they would mean a problem and they might never return to Northen SS, but that male if around could've also meant danger for K4

It is in Nkorho Live Cam not in Djuma Dam Cam. All those lions or one or two lions if I remember correctly have a pattern or sign like the ones that Shaka Mbiri and other lions have in Kruger have. They are also looking quite spent or thin at that time.

Kambula Update
K4 is reported to have reunited with his 3 brothers, and it is said that K4 called for them (contact call or roar) and they responded and find one another last night.
They are also said to be chased by the Ndzhengas this morning and it is said that K4 runs fine and they all got away. Well good for them they didn't fight right now as K4 is still injured and his priority right now is to recover goodly and not add injuries to his body.

Information from Darryn Gates

As for the main topic of your post, if the K4s are so easily driven to flee by two males, I'd say their current situation is much more perilous than I had previously thought.

Im sure this should be a few days not to say a week old especially since he was at the giraffe and his wounds were clearly bleeding and very nasty open which doesn't seem to be the case anymore

I think these are older photos from that giraffe as the wounds are still bleeding.
