There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.
Ah I thought K4 actually seeked out and found the carcass on his own until I started reading further. Knowing now it was placed there, I still feel really good he's eating. We see lions eat rotten, horrid meat all the time. I'm sure smell and rot don't bother them and they scarf it up just like it was fresh. Anyway, k4 is in a very iffy situation.

So the three Kambulas (obviously but notably without K4) tolerating Southern Black Dam male at a kill and even when with Nkuhuma lionesses (at least K5 according to commentary)... my outlook for Kambulas without K4 is low.

This thread will morph into the new Kambula males (sons of the N'Was boys), and they in my estimation will achieve far greater in their first few weeks than this foursome ever did. It wouldn't surprise me actually if the current 4 is seen to it's end by their younger siblings here in a couple of years.

Really hate on how people somehow will think that this is the end for the Kambulas and concluding this and that when they have just started entering 6 years old is just absurd it's like you know what will happen in the future and in that future of yours they will fail and just saying that put that negativity just inside your head.
It was reported that the SBDM expelled K4 from the carcass and beat him a little in the process last night, but I have doubts whether this was really yesterday or earlier as this would explain him leaving the carcass without eating and appearing in a worse condition, unlike today

K3 on a Buffalo Kill: Seems like this kill is different from the earlier one as this buffalo is much bigger and this sighting is said to be this afternoon while the one this morning seems like a small buffalo or a calf.
