There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.

Video of the male in question:
Paulo is out doing field work on night monkeys but said he'd search through his files to Id him when hes back.
If you could ask him to give his opinion on that jaguar's weight estimate that'd be awesome too :)
He's not great with body weight estimates since he's never been involved in a weighing but he's good about giving size comparisons to other Jaguars, so I'll ask about that.

Video of the male in question:
That huge male's name is Edno and he was first seen in 2019
Him, Balam, and the last male I posted are all tanks and it's great to see so many huge toms around PJ now that Mick and Adriano are gone. Hopefully after this virus situation passes we'll get better footage of them once tourists return.

"Happy International Cat Day! This is “Manco“, a male that is being monitored by the project @oncasrionegro. We spotted him last week crossing the shallow waters around a place we call "The Island". On the next morning we found a freshly killed feral pig there that most probably goes on his bill... "
Sidenote, he looks very similar to Matheus male to me who lives in the same area, I wonder if they are related.

Edit: I just remembered they are the same cat lol.
