The 43kg adult Caatinga male jaguar we know is dead.
 His name was Lampião. He died in December last year of starvation.  gendiedson ''Today the memory goes from the first melanistic Onça-Preta captured in the Caatinga. Unfortunately the "Lampião" is no longer alive and the situation of the jaguar from the Caatinga biome is critically endangered. If we do nothing in the short term we will lose this population... This is the guy who kicked Marleys/Jurus butt and is easily larger than Adriano. A side note, Paulo said that hes had cancellations for the entire season and while the Pantanal is "open," tourism is completely dead. It may be some time before it's economy comes back which is very sad. Both for us as nature lovers and for the country itself.

She's daughter of the majestic Jeffa female and sister of Luciano male ( he is the same age as her ). Hopefully she will pick up her mothers impressive/massive genes. Troncha is no longer seen in a long time if I am not mistaken and we gotta recall that 110kg of hers she gave birth of just one cub after months of the capture. So non pregnant Troncha wouldn't be far bellow that size I guess. This is young Luciano male, brother of Luciana female and son of Jeffa.
