There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.

To me Los Llanos jaguars look bigger than pantanal ones.

I believe they completely overlap in size, but unfortunately, no new captures of Llanos jaguars have been done recently so so far their weights and measurements are unknown. There are some unconfirmed reports of jaguars in the Venezuelan Llanos weighing 159 and 180 kg in the past, but those were never confirmed.

"Meet Adriano, King of the Pantanal. This grizzled veteran is estimated to weigh in at 160 kg! We were thrilled to have just a couple of minutes with him, as he walked along the riverbank."

Sidenote: I believe the weight of 158 kg given by Panthera for Adriano was an estimation of his size, and the 130 kg confirmed was attained when he was younger. I do believe he is heavier than that.
