Holloway dropped out too. Now this is definitely a one-sided fight in favor of Khabib...

Recently dropped news that Volkan Oezdimir is trying to fight Shogun on UFC Fight Night 129...definitely looking forward to this! Shogun is way washed up from PRIDE, but has better grappling and submissions than Volkan, obviously. The problem will be taking Volkan to the ground as Volkan's standing is oddly weird but effective. I think 50/50.

That is how much unhealthy pressure 939-pounds of metal puts into you.

Powerlifting can be a bloody sport too (also proven when Eddie Hall bled his knees while deadlifting too).

I won't post more videos because it may upset a few of the viewers here but I personally love these.
When they vomit and still pull their lift or bust their nose, rupture blood vessels in their eyes, whatever the case, it's such a primal sight.
But their is always one thing they can't hide and that is tears... bicep tears, acl, mcl, pcl, whatever. When they go, your will and function go right with them.

I remember I posted a story on here detailing how I tore my bicep by curling...that bolded part is especially true. I contemplated on giving up powerlifting but stuck through it because I wanted to do something a little extra in my life instead of following it by the book (birth, school, college, etc...), but I just couldn't get the motivation lift near as much ever again after the injury and started to go into MMA and Sambo classes, and later on, BJJ. Then got overweight as soon as I started university. I will be back to normal in no time after university graduation!

Fedor TKO'd Mir! Fedor took this one much more seriously and trained for the fight. Proves old Fedor still got hands!

Looks like my predictions were right. I always knew Khabib's tight ground game would make any lightweight barely able to get up. He even lit Conor on the feet!

But I have lost my respect for him in his post-fight behavior; one should never fight anyone else besides his intended opponent, and Khabib certainly disregarded the of the "calm, unfazed Russian" when he attacked Conor's trainer with emotional childishness. UFC is (and will be) right about this event setting a trend for unintended future violence, both in and out of the promotion.

We both picked Khabib, but you’re right, he did act like a thug post fight. I think it’s staged more than anything else tbh, the UFC is turning onto the WWE and in the end it’ll be good for ratings I’m sure.

Khabib showed his ground control ability clearly, no one seems to know anything against this technique, for once I see if the takedown is in the centre it is not as hopeless for the opponent but if he pins you near the cage he will control much easily, Conor did not seem too fluid either due to 'ringrust' being exhausted or being too cautious of the takedowns, regarding UFC 229 Tony's approach was too exciting, u don't need to see the highlights if u see that fight, like Eddie bravo had mentioned in Joe rogan experience, most opponents of Khabib only deals to get away from the takedown, I hope Tony practises fighting on his back more for the fight against Khabib, look at that Pettis fight, Tony got knockdown but he swung his hand turn around and cut Pettis all in that one momentum. Man this fighter is a true represent of a Mexican warrior I was having goosebumps seeing this fight live

I don't like what the UFC is turning into. They are trying to make Khabib not act like his real self and he even said it himself in the post-fight interview. Regardless of the ratings, the true fans of the sport are here at stake; the ones that have been watching since 1993 as well as other MMA promotions. If he loses those and gains a more casual fan-base, then the only people who will watch MMA will be those simply looking for the highest ratings instead of their personal favorite fighters.

Tony fight was a bloody spectacle lol! I think that fight was the most exciting, but the main fight was the most suspenseful. Once Khabib gets an opponent down, its probably over for them.

that was entertaining to say the least, the Dominic Reyes fight, Tony Ferguson and Anthony Pettis definitely were going at it. diff styles and their agility. hands down the most exciting fight to witness. main card also was unbelievable, for all the crap conor said. he pretty much got nailed that entire fight. Khabib vs Tony is the real fight though. Im glad the Conor hype is done and over with. Dana should’ve taken those belts away from him a long time ago.

P.s i also won like $1200 on Khabib, glad i didn’t take those -170 odd bets.

Was someone dumb enough to give you straight up odds?
Khabib was the betting favorite everywhere from all the lines I saw, so I'm assuming you made a side bet to get away from those odds?
