There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.

Anyone knows if there are descents of Mapogo are still alive besides females mated with Majingilane? Majingilane was just lucky.

Plenty around. Entire Othawa , Mhangeni and Kambula prides. Anythink from those prides are Mapogo's daughters, grand daughters/sons or further descendants.

What happened to Majingilane now? Who defeated them if they are gone or lost their pride?

No, they have not been beaten or chassed as far as we can know (such incident hasn't been reported by any lodge). They also did not have any injurey suggesting they could be in some fight.

How old were they when they died? Majingialne was just lucky lion group compared to many other lion coalition after they defeated Mapogo. I believe Mapogo would murdered Majingialne if they were not old.
Do you have photo or video of Golden Mane was gorged by buffalo?

Noone really know where exactly and when they were born to. Their age is estimated by how they looked like when they came across Mapogos in mid 2010.  Most likelly they were 12,5-13 years old, but as you can immagine such estimantions by the look can be wrong. I would not say Majings were lucky. Actually I would say the opposite. They were rulling in extremally difficult times and had to cross paths with many huge coalitions (Magogos, Matimbas, Salatis, Birminghams and Mantimahles). We can only guess what would happen if they would get into open confrontation with Mapogos with equal numbers and both coaalitions in the prime. I  do not have pics of gorged GM.

An old video (2016) about which I don't know if it had been shared here. 3 male lions killed a young buffalo. 1 of them was thin, and other one very thin....

Khimbini Wildlife Videos

" After a full week of hunting finally the three male lions bull down a buffalo. Even when 400+ buffaloes come to rescue the victim the lions refused to back down until the herd gave up and ran. Filmed at Inyati game lodge, Sabi Sand Game Reserve. South Africa "
