There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.

Like Giraffe Male, we still have not heard any recent news regarding HRM either, have we?
The last sighting of him was with the Tsalala male. Since then zero updates

That is what I thought, thank you @"TinoArmando" my friend.

Talamati male is looking good there. Definitely better than I expected him to be. They were roaring which marks terrytorial challange. It will be interesting to see how well they will do in that arena with other competing males. At Lions Sands they came up lossing, but obviously it is very difficult to as a coalition of 2 to compete with coalition of 4. Perhaps around Skukuza they will fine better successes.

I tried again and cannot post a screenshot on my laptop.  I get blank messages.  I'll post a link again here instead of on my phone just to see if it works better or not.

Doesn't look like Tsalala male. MOreover in the comments it was writen video was taken in the north from Satara, so not a region we would expect Tsalala male to show up at all.

Okay. Interesting though.  Just a short clip unfortunately.

The stride and belly seems reminiscent of the Tsalala Male.... but because his face isn't visible, hard to say for absolute certain.  If it is him, he certainly hightailed it well AWAY from the Skuzuka area!

Edited to add: I just watched it again in full screen on my laptop and I do see an old healed scar wound near his tail, but you do have to pause the clip at 23-24 seconds to see it better. I know that other lions can also have such wounds, just thought I'd take a closer look again to make sure if anything was there or not.

I'd like to think he's alive somewhere and healthy. He's now 7 and into his prime years. Wish a partner would stick with him for good.

Cath, I tried to fix them for you, but was unable to due to the group privacy settings.

So sad. @Cath2020  Do you remember in which private group you have found the video of the possibly 3T Tsalala male?
