Cant see because of gruop.. Can you post a image?

I tried again and cannot post a screenshot on my laptop.  I get blank messages.  I'll post a link again here instead of on my phone just to see if it works better or not.

Cath, I tried to fix them for you, but was unable to due to the group privacy settings.
The male that Cathan was asking if could be the Tsalala male was seen on north of Satara about 12 km. Definitely not is the 3-Tooth Tsalala male,This male is much tall and bigger than how should look Tsalala male

If you look at the last sighting of Tsalala male has the same facial structure as this male the size would be bigger because of how close to this lion the camera is I do believe this is Tsalala male or the Jock male who was an original member of De Laporte coalition with Hilda’s rock male.

None of the one that you have mentioned above. Anyway great observation

This picture is months old and it was taken close to and at car level it was a safari guide from a different lodge when they were off duty many were discussing how big he is and it was said how the picture was taken at close range from a regular vehicle.

That video was filmed in Satara area far away from where is the territory of the DeLaporte coalition. As well that male look a bit older.

Doesn't matter, far away or near the "former" so-called territory of the Delaportes. The coalition was shakey at best, and all of them were scattered throughout by the Mpondos several months ago. It makes more sense, in fact, the further away he went from where he was attacked. He could have also decided to abandon that previous area entirely, especially if his interest got drawn elsewhere. I think he was only 'close' to Hilda's Rock Male, anyway

Of course that matters. the DeLaporte coalition split-up in groups and latest sightings of 3T and HRM was near of their main territory as well of the other two,Talamati and Dreadlock. They not have move from where they used to be dominant. So,In my personal opinion is almost impossible that the Tsalala male has went into Satara area.
I once heard  that the lions never travel far their birth area. Perhaps that's true.

Yes, if 3T and HRM are still alive they are prob somewhere near Skukuza, prob west around Big Boys territory on S1 and H1-1.. Unfortunately sightings from this area are very rare, only from Kruger Sightings pretty much..

The hole on his back could be pretty correct and I'll say even in the same area,However,I believe that would be good if the Tsalala page give more information. Because without a location on where the possible 3T was seen doesn't help in nothing to be honest

To my eye scar near his tail is too small and the mane of this mane is too big for a 3Tooth. I do not believe it is him.

You do know that male lions, as a rule, historically disperse vast distances?  That's well known.  The fact that many of them do not do so today, particularly IN the KNP and surrounding reserves, is actually an anomaly.  The bush habitat of these areas could have something to do with it.... Lions haven't evolved for millennia in such habitats, that's for sure, and in such packed parks with a high density of available prey.  The KNP favors ever larger and larger prides and coalitions just to compete with each other, leading to higher rates of death from other lions and an increased rate of cub mortality, inbreeding, etc....  Male lions can disperse up to 200 km away from their natal area; and this is completely not unusual.

Plus, for optimal gene variety and better fitness levels, it is a very GOOD thing if males go as far away as they can from their natal pride area. This is not always the case more and more, as we suspect, looking at male nomads these day, particularly in SS and surrounding areas.

As @Tr1x24 said previously. If 3T is still alive should be around Skukuza as there was their main territory and where he has been seen for years now. Anyway that's was just my personal opinion.
