There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.

I apologize if this isn't the right place, but man.  This boy is beautiful.  Makes Casper look average!!!

I think they are in Kruger.  Sorry, if my ignorance isn't bliss here.

This guy is looking great. I like the soundtrack of the clip.

I never thought Casper was a good-looking lion, but yeah the white Birmingham male is very handsome and impressive.

He and his brothers looked bigger than 1/3 River Pride males when they killed him, and that was when they were around 4,5yo IIRC.

A shame one of the Birminghams died but luckily the white one and his remaining bro can be successful.

2 Imbali young males (sons of S8) and WonkyEye indeed takeover Hamiltons pride few month ago, and now have cubs already:

Looks like legendary Leeubron males are gone, nothing on them in ages from that area, any info?

Also, nothing on Skybed son who was with Imbali pride for ages aswell, is he still alive?

Leeubrons are very old, it's not surprising that they might have been gone.

It's a bit surprising that the Imbalis became dominant so soon but we had seen they chasing the Kruger male many months ago, and WE is in his prime.

I know it happens every single day in the bush, but WE's story is surely one of perseverance and determination, let us just hope it is also a triumphant one.

The three sons of the S8 Males, or young Imbali Males, are off to a great start!  They've become pride males already.  Amazing males with good bonds.  Hopefully, more news comes out often about these sons of the legendary S8.  What a shame that his younger sons, once again 3, from the Talamati Pride, didn't make it as subs.

But where are 2 Mhangenis in this story?

When lions return from the dead like this, it gives me hope that the Othawa Boys (M, T, Jr and the other two) actually made a life for themselves.  Even for Dark Mane, Jr.  He and his brother split up before, not that big of a stretch that they split up again. DM Jr. could be out in the middle of nowhere Kruger with a new partner living the good life.  Wishful thinking, I know, but these guys reappearing makes it seem just a bit more realistic.

It's one of the three Talamati males sired by the Matimbas, different generations.
