There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.

Looks like all 5 Trichardt last night and a pic of Kumana. Bruce garry said Kumana in same condition he was before the 5 arrived so he probably didn't fight them, Maputo video of him limping looks sore on one leg but recon he could recover.

Yea, i think they are born thru 2016, i dont think theres evidence that they are born exactly in December 2016, i think few of them looks older then that.

They do look very similar to Mazithi pride males, age and area also matches.

So they are already expanding, i know they have cubs down on s37, born in late 2020.

Looks like similar move to N'waswitshakas expansion, both coalitions expanded after ~ 1.5 yrs of domination in their first territory, reason is prob also the same, theres prob no more females there to mate with.

I accidently posted the wrong picture of the 5th male in the Trichardt males id photos above, one was a double of same male. so a heads up if anyone saved those I have changed one picture now so now all is correct in that post.

I also just went through some pics of Graeme mitchleys wildlife photography on Facebook, he has a s37 album and every member is pictured within that album if anyone wants to see these guys at different ages.

What happened to the adult lions they killed in 2016, the brother of Mazithi pride males?

Dont understand what are you asking exactly.

If you asking about Mazithi pride males, they where 4 in 2016, i think 1 died shortly after, then 1 around 2019-20.

2 where stil alive recently but i think they are nomads now, Fourways - Torchwood coalition is now seen with Mazithi females.

Quite succesfull coalition, they sired Mazithi/Tshokwanes (they where 6 at one point) of which 3 survived and are now dominant for a year around Nkuhlu area, they also sired 3 Mazithi younger males (younger brothers of Mazithi/Tshokwanes) who are now dominant with 1 older male north of Mazithi Dam. And its very likely they sired Trichardt males also in some other pride they controled.
