There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.

@lion sightings
Kanniedood
One of the impressive Kanniedood males up in North Kruger seen recently on the S52 North of Joao. This Lion and his brother have ruled the massive Kanniedood pride for many years, they are known to operate in both Mozambique and Kruger as they are on the border of both countries. They still dominate the Kanniedood pride but this Lions brother is in poor condition. They are surrounded by many new young males, but this Kanniedood Male is still the most impressive and dominant lion in the area and he will do whatever he can to continue his reign.

I think they are just around 5.

In my opinions Othawa male was the most impressive lion I have ever seen at only 4-5 years old. His mane was already dark-blonde in late 2019. An honorable mention is the Red Road male.

The Hamiltons Lion Pride has finally regrouped after the takeover by the two N'waswitsontso Males.
The Pride is regularly spotted with between fourteen to twenty-one individuals.
Four of the females have cubs, which range in age and size from a couple of months to just under a year.
The N'waswitsontso Males took over the Hamiltons pride towards the end of 2020.
