There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.
I went to Kruger Park for 2 days to find a male lion that was growing up in Timbavati Avoca pride. I found him close to Mudzanzeni picnic spot early morning. He was with a younger male that might be with him before.
Last month, The Mountain Pride at Singita Kruger National Park surprised us by introducing three new cubs to the pride. We are delighted to see this pride grow to 15 members and look forward to keeping you updated on their progress.
Singita Lebombo, “The land of lions,” is our private concession that spans 33,000-acres of pristine wilderness in the world-renowned Kruger National Park. The diverse landscape of rocky outcrops dotted with giant euphorbia trees, riverbeds and open savannah plains is prime habitat for the numerous resident lion prides. We love nothing more than to witness the constant movements of these prides thriving in their natural environment.

Hope they can avoid fate of their cousins Vurhami males in nomadic life, it certaintly is hard for young males to succeed in that area, surrounded by 5 Gomondwane males in east, 3 powerful Mjejanes west, Lubyelubye and H4 males around H5/H4..

Do they stay together all the time?
You mean Mjejanes? Its unknown their exact age, They become dominant in that area in mid 2018 as young males.. So if then they'd have 4 - 5, now they are around 6 - 7 yrs old..
