There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.

In the video he seems to have a bit of difficulty getting around, I hope it's nothing serious

@Gavskrr At least we know he's alive after after probably 6 months of no sighting. He looks to be in a reasonable condition for his age, despite his problem with his left hip/leg.

I think you mistaken Dreadlocks for Talamati male, Dreadlocks was seen in March/April and didn't have any limps.

In the last couple of Months I have been spending time in the Southern parts of the Kruger National Park. I have been particularly looking for lions instead of my normal adventures with Leopards. I have been determined to find a lot of these strong coalitions down south and yes i  have been really fortunate to locate a lot of them including the Vurhami young males before they got killed by the Mjejane males (one surviving at the moment) the mighty Gomondwane males, The Shishangeni males, H5 males (Lubyelubye father and son), the Mjejane males and the S26 males...
I must say all these coalitions are looking at top condition. The crocodile Bridge area is really doing well with lions at the moment. They are everywhere, i  mean everywhere.
The male in this picture is one of the 26 males. On this morning I found three of them together and  they look in Top class condition. I must say though that each time I found them, I found that they are are not particularly fond of cars and therefore you have to give them a lot of distance and space  and eventually they do calm down and come to you relaxed.
Its always such a privilege to see lions doing well so well on others areas of the park. These males are currently having cubs as well with their pride which has been such a blessing to see.

With Nsemani males getting to an age, it looks like these boys will be their descendants in that area Satara/Nsemani Dam.
