There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.

Photographer Don Johnston, from Lively, Ontario in Canada, said: 'The power and strength of these animals was amazing to see. The ground shook when the bears rolled over during a wrestling match that lasted just two or three minutes, says the photographer. "The bears spend all day surrounded by mosquitos. I'm not quite sure how they don't go insane!
This is Brutus, once known as the largest bear in Finland, weighing over 300kg. The backlighting works to highlight the bear, but also the cloud of mosquitos!"

Ngala, I have experienced locations like this where the mosquitoes were maddening. The grizzlies and other wildlife just have to endure.
