Awesome screenshots Gijima. These are worrying behavior by the young Birmingham male (I know that  this is a common behavior in young males and lions). But if the Ross males caught it doing this, he could be in a serious trouble. Especially with Tyson.

Hopefully he knows to behave himself when the big males are around. Wink Where  are the Ross Males anyways? They’re dominant over the Birminghams, Birmingham Breakaways... any other pride?

How many adult lionesses is there in Breakeaway pride, 4 right ??

And did you maybe find out who sired exactly those 3 middle young males, we know that oldest one is sired by Avoca/Giraffes and that 3 youngest are too young to be sired by Avoca/Giraffes, and sired by Ross males..

I think the key to determine that is to find out is the Birmingham Breakaway actually a pride called Red Road Pride in Manyeleti :

Report September 2017 :

*This image is copyright of its original author

RRP has 4 adult lionesses and 2 cubs, and is under control of Avoca/Giraffes.

Report October 2017:

Report February 2018 (Avoca/Giraffes still with RRP) :

So if the Birmingham Breakaway is Red Road Pride, that means that cubs born in early 2018 are Avoca/Giraffes, as this is photo of the Birmingham Breakaway cubs in June 2018:

Also, that report of Red Road Pride from February 2018 in Manyeleti, is one of the last report of RRP from Tintswalo, they disapeared from Manyeleti, just by chance when Ross males started to take Ngala and Birmingham Breakaway pride..

Can you maybe find out 100% if current Birmingham Breakaway is the pride called Red Road Pride in Manyeleti??

As i have said much before,The Birmingham pride / Birmingham breakaway pride once were part of the Red road pride. So historically make senses that those young males also could be Avoca/Giraffe sons

Both cubs very eager to keep up with mom as she leads them to the dry Timbavati river bed.
Quite a task keeping up when one of her strides equals to about four strides per cub.

Young Birmingham is looking like a true Avoca here ( his facial features... almost reminds me of Blondie). Also, I think him and Fabio are in a secret coalition lol. They are always sitting together and Young Birmi  has no fear of him.

Yeah, I think that eventually Tyson will accept him aswell, prob never as good as Fabio did but yea...Tyson doesnt chase him anymore, he is only aware that BYM doesnt came close to Birmingham females, that thing Tyson also does to Fabio, on this video, he was paying attention to Fabio aswell..

Unless BYM leave on his own, this would be actually good move for Ross males, they are almost 10 yrs old, and strong young male would definitely help them, and as long as Tyson is around, BYM would not be allowed to mate with Birmingham females, so inbreeding would not accure..

Tyson is one of those "special" lions, very agressive and very dominant, you can see this on his face, full of scars, when he rejoins the pride, you can see respect he has from all members of the pride, even from his brother.. He is the true lion "king" and im happy that WildEarth can bring us those lions from Ngala so we can know them better..
