There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.

White Male is back in Ngala, still alone.
He isn't moving in the video, but people on twitter/youtube were saying he has a limp. Is he old enough for his fathers to start pushing him out?

2 hours 59 minutes 38 seconds into video if timestamp doesn't work.

I think mothers are currently pushing out subadults, since they have new cubs.

He was seen alone last few days, with a lot of bite marks on him and apperantly limp.. Its unknown what happened, whole gruop of subadults where seen around Orpens, and then he somehow got separated and since he returned in Ngala..

Subadults gruop where not seen since, they are prob in Kruger, apparently 1 subadult is with older females gruop and cubs (might be the young female who got beaten up).

It might be that they run into another pride around Orpens, might be Mbiris or Skorro's and he got separated and beaten up, or he might tried to rejoin his mothers and they beaten him just as they beaten his sister, althrough they would be much more agressive towards males..

Today his tracks are seen going west.. Hope he can find his siblings as soon as possible.

Yup, those scenarios are likely, considering he acted dominantly within the group if sub-adults, and this happened to him and not any of his brothers instead (as far as we know), perhaps he might have a misunderstanding with BYM after he joined "his" white group of sub-adults as well - not very likely but BYM is not entirely normally acting individual at first place.

Dont think that has to do anything with BYM, those subadults are too young to have any dominant or hierarchy behavior at that age.

That's what I have been thinking this whole time.

Yeah, I'm wondering if the females attacked him just like they attacked the sub-adult female, but maybe the Ross Males were present this time and they joined in?

Or he was attacked by the unidentified male and female who were mating on the H7 Last week, after those two lions appeared the sub-adult group disappeared.

Only one Birmingham made an appearance on the WildEarth sunset stream today, I believe its the one sub-adult female who (unsuccessfully) stuck around the pride. She's alone at the moment and was contact calling east towards Kruger.

No sightings of BYM, the white female and their group since Feb 1st?

Youngsters are back in Ngalaa, and the white male has joined them.
