There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.

They are already there for quite some time.

Great, then there's no need for redundancy.

Couldn't really tell what was going on, but this is was apparently the Skorro Breakaways losing their kills to the Birmingham Sub-adults

Really hard to see in that video, but it appears that BYM is sticking with them as well, which is good for all parties. He appears a little thin in the hind quarters.

The young Birmingham male - as he’s growing up starting to look more like his father. It’s absolutely mind blowing how resilient these animals are and what they are able to bounce back from. In a perfect world he would’ve left his natal pride about two years back but rather decided to stay. Hanging on for as long as he possibly can he’s received a lot of bites, scratches and beatings from not only the Ross males but other males territorial to Ngala’s western and eastern parts - that’s just the life of a male lion. We don’t know if he’ll join the subadults of the Birmingham pride and become part of that coalition, maybe he wanders off, confident enough in his own ability and takes over a territory in couple of years like his older brother, the red road male, did. The future is uncertain but for now he’s looking strong, and getting bigger by the day

He is looking so good. I would sure like to see some video of him walking around. If he killed that Kudu, then clearly his leg isn't impacting his ability to hunt. As big as his body is, it still hasn't grown into that enormous head of his.

Ah Marcus clarified, Ngala doesn't name the lions and he was just using the name that he heard the community using. Guess someone higher up spoke to him lol

Yes, I agree, and I also would like to see some video of him in hunting mode to see how does he hunt, because Kudu isn't an easy prey to catch.

I'm afraid, like with DM, he's going to have issues with that leg the rest of his life. He's still favoring it quite a bit. Don't know if he killed that kudu, but if he did that's fantastic. However, in a fight, that leg could really cause him some problems.
