There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.

I just got back from my vacay and heard the saddest news about Tarachand’s death. electrocuted to death, what a way to go. how unfortunate. Rip my boy.. Matkasur and Choti tara both lost a son, Chota Matka lost his brother and everyone that followed him since birth lost a magnificient young male tiger. he had just separated from his brother recently and was looking to establish himself. I could post the pictures of his body that was recovered by the forest department but i’m choosing not to.

TIGER TANK AND WATER INSPECTOR!

Please view fullscreen

This huge Male Tiger, one of the biggest of Bandhavgarh, appeared in front of my sole vehicle and put up an extraordinary show thereafter. When he reached this tank, he climbed up to the bottom of the platform and was looking for ways to get on its top! He was acting like the Water Inspector. Loved his very unusual behaviour and activities

Blast from the past...
During his time Konda was said to be one of if not the largest Tiger in Kanha and claimed by many to be the largest they've seen.

Abhijit J Anandgaonkar
at 11+ feet in length, Konda was one of the largest Tiger to be found in the wild. Konda was killed in a territorial fight with another male in January 2008.
