@DaveB you’re right, it is Ranga for sure and he’s been missing for a long time now. i accidentally mixed him up in these set of pics. there is a new male in Mamla that looks similar to him. hence the confusion.

This guy indeed looks to be a different male @Roflcopters. Mamla buffer looks very messed up with too many males now (Raka, K1, Shiva, Jr.Bajrang, Maya & Tala's son, Haider if he is still around? and now This new guy).
Haider has been missing for quite sometime now, most likely surviving somewhere in Chandrapur area. also most areas in tadoba are super crowded with a mixture of tigers ranging from sub adults to prime males and a few old males still clinging to their last leg.

 Carcass of 'Saokar' male found today in Umred Karhandla. Sad news to lose the impressive young guy so soon.

There’s no better way for him to go out. Looks to be the end for Umarpani, but at least he went out on his shield.

Very sad to hear about the passing of the mighty Umarpani tiger. He was one of my favourite tigers of all time and my favourite tiger from Kanha. In his prime, he was Kanha's largest, most formidable, most powerful and battle-tested tiger. What a legend.
R.I.P Umarpani.
still can’t believe it.. Kanha will never be the same without Umarpani. his legacy will forever live. RIP Umarpani.
