Anyone know how many cubs he birthed?

Also, which tiger killed or injured him?

What was his age?

He wasn’t killed in a territorial fight. Shiva died from starvation as a result of injuries sustained during a fight odd 3-4 days prior to his death.

he was pretty much skin and bones at the time of his death.

@ganidat

hard to say, only Tadoba FD can answer that rightfully. based on his presence in Kolsa. he had around 13 + cubs with Kuwani & Hirdi Nallah. Also, he was 13 years old.

P243. The poor guy has had a rough past but is super resilient. Just one month back he was found with a barbed wire around his neck which caused an injury as well. The forest department had to tranquillise him and take it off. He’s bounced back well and we saw him over 3 days patrolling his large territory, that too with a full belly. ?
Long live P243

whoever is supporting the golden tigers are blind and stupid.

Golden tigers look like zombies, and they are inbred.

Their existence is a sign failure for the Indian conservation effort.

There are only 2 legit types of tigers: Orange tigers and Black tigers.

I’m seeing social media posts saying that Baisanghat male was electrocuted. Huge tragedy, if true. Not to say Bajrang and Shiva were not sad events, but for the dominant male with the largest territory in Kanha to go out like this is an absolute mess. Forest department can never be too vigilant when it comes to things like this.

Bhaisanghat would’ve been approximately 9-10 years old. Kanha is also reporting that Dhamangaon male aka Yuvraj has died in a territorial fight. He would’ve been 11 or 12.
