There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.

2 Southern Avoca Males
@lionsandsgamereserve Kruger National Park Narina Lodge.

A pleasant surprise to see these 2 warriors - these males have not been seen on the Lion Sands side for quite sometime but have been roaming around the eastern block for a week or so.

Their first presence were noted when they killed a young Hyena close to Tinga Lodge in the Kruger National Park.

A very successful duo of lions. Often overwhelmed by the fame of their Northern brothers. These two gorgeous beasts don't get the reputation and recognition they should have.
They've been always in great condition, that's means they're good hunters and an pride who keep them well feed too.

Dark-maned has lost a lot of mane lately. He is still limping in his front-paw?

He is still limping slightly although he is still capable of running for a short distance when he needs to. The limp also might impact his confidence since he knows he is not in the best condition. There was discussion earlier in this thread about his limp. You can read that for more info

Thank you for the update. Have been out for lion world for a couple of months. Thus, haven't been following them. But it seems he is still limping.

He looks exactly as Brutus from this angle and in this photo. The lost of his mane make him look similar to his dad, lol.

Mohawk and Blondie with the Nkuhumas yesterday. Mohawk is so impressive. He really has turned out to be a fierce looking lion. Also, I’m assuming the lioness he’s following behind is not one of the ones with cubs and is about to go into estrus.
