The Northern Avoca Males have had their work cut out for them over the last while. After resting for the day this male gets up and heads in the direction of other lions calling, most likely his brother or a female.
he needs some good meals

Short clip of 1/3 Northern Avocas, Blondie, who looks like is recovering well, feeding on the same elephant than Mohawk at Silvan Safari Lodge, Northern Sabi Sands, November 20.

S.avocas roaring in lion sands, we might have n'was vs s.avocas instead of n.avocas.

Lions Sands and Kirkmans camp share traverse area, so this might just be recorded in S.Avocas own territory

I saw Timbabati's post about Mohawk mentioning there's signs of TB but I've scrolled through all recent photos of him and looks healthy to me but I'm no expert though. I do hope for him and  Blondie's sake he's healthy especially if 5th Mantimahle and son actually push in for a takeover.

Although he is still in good condition and doesn't seems to be affected by the TB. The fact is that he is already showing some signs of it. Like his sparse mane and the pale skin. The majority of lions appear healthy. But lions with advanced disease may show symptoms like swollen elbows, slow-healing wounds, poor coat condition, weight loss, coughing and difficulty breathing,” Mohawk has both elbows swollen. Which indicates it is a advanced disease.

Has has an elbow hygroma, which is apparently a symptom of Bovine TB in lions, as well as FIV. It's also caused just by resting on a hard surface, domestic dogs can get it from sleeping on wooden flooring.

Actually, I did some research and, in fact, are symptoms of TB

This is what i found as well: Infected lions may show signs of progressive weight loss, poor healing skin wounds, joint swellings, muscle loss and eye lesions. TB in lions contributes to lower lion survival and breeding success
