I too think their age (4) at that time meant they probably didn't have a real plan, but it definitely shows how assertive they were if you consider the fact that they were basically the same age as the current Nkuhuma & Styx males. It would be the equivalent to our current four year olds going into the Manyeleti and chasing Red Road Male around.

@"TinoArmando" Thanks for posting that! I always heard about that incident but never read the report. Good find!

@Gijima You nailed it my friend, that was exactly my point, these guys came in at such a young age, but swept through like a wrecking ball. Amazing stuff.

HB always up for a fight. All the lions in this story, absolute incredible warriors!

I couldn't be more agree! Seems that the lions of the "old school" the  fight and spirit of warrior run through their veins! Look at HB,Despite that he wasn't being on their best moment of their life. He decided fight and cover to his beloved brother who was injured at that time.

Yes indeed my friend, there was so much love between HB and Ginger, just as it was with Mr. T and KT, and Makhulu and PB, there was a true brotherhood that showed through the actions of those animals. You could feel the sense of loss they all felt when their brothers were gone.

Any information on the Plains Camp Pride that the Southern Avocas also control?  How many lionesses and cubs, for example?

Theres not are much sightings of the Plains Camp pride with the Southern Avoca males. Besides,They have spending the last months on Kirkman's Kamp as per Eckson Sithole. This means that they weren't in KNP

If im not mistaken, Plains Camp Pride has 2 or 3 adult lionesses, and possibly 2 younger ones if they rejoin their mothers..

Someone there said that swollen joints of Mohawk Avoca vanished, but at that vivdeo we can clearly see that they are still there.
