There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.

I have related my actual experiences. Again  I am sorry I confused Wildfact with another site in.a comment. But is it true that now here my credibility is being questioned because of that, and because I answered as diplomatically as I could in the tiger vs lion debate when I was asked? I am a bit baffled.  I loathe lion vs tiger debates. There is never a clear winner, as I have stated over and over . Its ridicuous- no trainer wants fights. And
I never choose to debate any " fanboys" rather than contribue on this site. I respect the tone and people on this site, you are all very knowledgable and interested in the important topics.  I really do wish you the best, even though I.am disappointed to read the doubts there are about me and regret that a comment on quora led to such doubts. I feel we missed a great opportunity to share but maybe we can try another time  in the future when things have been cleared up.  Again, I meant no offence to Wildfact, and will delete the comment. My problems were with a commenter on Wildanimal warfare who questioned my credibility and my mentors.  I am fiercely protective of their privacy and reputations, which I am sure you all can understand. Thanks for reading, I know this is a bit long and wandering. I wish I had seen this thread sooner.

There are quite many internet forums in which animals feature. In general, there are 2 groups: forums populated by posters interested in good information (a) and forums populated by posters interested in something very different (b). Based on what I read (referring to your posts in the animal trainers thread), I'd say you like good information.

More often than not, it takes time to find your way. Not seldom, it's rough and rocky. Bad experiences are have disadvantages, but the advantage is you quickly learn to distinguish between good information and something different.

As to the misunderstanding and the confusion that followed: your explanation is appreciated and your apology is accepted. Consider it a thing of the past.

As to the follow-up. My guess is you have a lot to say. The proposal is to continue in the trainer thread, as that one was created for big cat trainers and those interested in their experiences. You could start with (one of) the questions I have, but you can also post about something you're interested in. Some of your posts in that department in particular are great, so do as you please.

Welcome come back on behalf of all Kathlee,

Peter.
