To me it seems that Skorro Jr and Sassy choose to head into PC territory to get Nhenha and NK male off their back, at least for now. Perhaps with Skorro Jr his reason is to try his luck at getting through their territory again, but also knowing that if Nhenha/NK followed him, they would be met by those boys and hopefully injured.
Those PC boys are unwittingly assisting the Othawa pride and Skorro Jr to evade the Birmingham boys.  Sassy knew Nhenha would meet a "moving wall" because the PC boys would surely defend their territory, and which they will no doubt be watching more closely.
Like I said earlier, what a choice to have to make and yet it has worked perfectly today to provide a place for her and the cubs to pivot from in this chase.
This is so utterly risky and stressful.

Dont think Sassy moving to Singita has anything to do with this, NK/Nhenha didn't follow her to Singita, yet PC males invaded western sector, which is nothing new, they did it few times even when Skorro Jr. was still territorial male there.

But yea, with all this mess going on, Othawa pride gets some "breathing" room, for now.

Honestly I was so surprised at how big the PC males are since the last recent video I saw of them. . Both have huge frames and very thick muscular build. In the video of them chasing NK male they looked absolutely massive.

Nhena/NYM would do great in a traditional 2v2 where you chase back and forth with a couple altercations. The PCs are always together, always in perfect condition, and know their strengths. They know they will have the upper hand against anyone in a proper 2v2 brawl, just too big/strong and way too willing to have a go with anyone. Nhena/NYM need to watch their backs when they aren't together.

A lot of different factors play important roles in a fight such as strength, knowledge, experience, confidence, etc.
Despite the fact that the PC boys look more savage and stronger, I would not give for granted that PC boys will win over Nhenha's experience and NYM's youth and strength.
We will have to wait and see, but hopefully, the fight doesn't escalate and both coalitions stay safe.

The size difference between the PC males and NYM was surprising. Those boys are big. Doesn't seem to have phased Nhena at all though, he went and took a nap after having been chased, and a brief up close altercation, calm as can be. I agree fully, Nhena and NYM should be sticking together moving forward, at least until the threat has passed.

These 2 Plains Camp boys are huge for sure! I'm not sure it plays an important role in lion life tho as much as it would for a human. The Blitzkrieg tactics and confidence play more of a role with #'s and sticking together are more important iMHO.
