There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.

Perhaps that's only for long distance calls?
Who knows what kind of calls they have for other purposes.

Nothing quite compares to the sheer magnificence of a male lion in its prime.
From legendary Mapogo coalition of six males who tore through the Lion and Hyena populations of the reserve in the early to mid 2000’s, onto the Majingilane males who ruled the roost on Londolozi for way longer than most coalitions hold tenure, to the Plains Camps Males who fearlessly move between the Avoca and Birmingham Males’ territories on a regular basis.
Londolozi has witnessed some of the most thrilling male lion dynamics over the years.

Bboys have grandkids in all 3 of their original prides, Nkuhuma, Styx and Torchwood. Pretty sure the Torchwood Male got the Avoca lionesses pregnant as well.

That can't be said for sure as BYM, Hercules and sumatra are also the contenders.
But if nkuhuma male got the mangheni lioness pregnant, that wud be 100 %sure
