Skorro Jr. defended his pride and territory against 2 coalitions of 2 males for almost half a year,  this is actually great achievment which not many lone males would be capable to do.

So lets not "bash"  Skorro Jr., he did everything he could.

Sorry to reply to such an old comment but I was re-reading this thread and saw more than the once the claim no male has ever won a 1v2 warfare.

And while I obviously agree it was completely unresonable to expect Tumbela to win against either Birminghams or PCM, it has in fact happened before.

I'm pretty sure both Nhlanguleni and Dozie did that, though they were the attacking party. They killed one of the dominant males and ousted the other, taking over their territory. So depending on the circumstances and if the male is very lucky, he can pull this off. Reply
