There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.

We came across one of the two sub-adult males, in the family of Romeo II.
Romeo II is the current sole male of Double cross pride/Enkuyanai pride and since he was pushed deeper into the Reserve in September and his brother Mohican succumbing to injuries inflicted on him,The whole pride have made Double cross both River Intiak itiak and Olare rok their territory.
All the best for the young babies in the pride.

We got beautiful calling themselves karibu, be the undisputed king of the marsh pride, reign without rival on a corner of the mara... we can't bring her back in the face of two lionesses who spit their anger! They protect their offspring of the male indelicate who approached a little too close. This beautiful and rare image of one of our interns, promotion January 2017, is an example of technical lesson, of exposure under control (Counter-day) and Dynamic Photograph... what a picture!

GOOD NEWS FROM LONGFACE / RONGAIPRIDE!!
Longface was lost for 2 weeks. After the four Nomadmales injured and chased him , his trace was lost before the vet could treat him.
This morning we found him together with an old female. The vet will come and check his wounds.
