There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.

Yea, but regardless of limp, he is not healthy, just like their brother Scar, he cant put weight and his mane doesnt grow..

He will be like this rest of his life, and for sake of Othawa cubs, lets hope he can pull thru as long as possible, only 1 male roaring could attract other nomadic males in western sector.

The large Tumbela looking his most regal.

It’s always amazing to watch the impact that a large and impressive male lion like this one, has on safari goers.

Southeastern Sabi since mid 2018 with S. Avocas. Only N’was males are dominant in SS with no Timbavati heritage

Edit: also PC males since they are no longer nomads and habve cubs

Limper has TB and he will eventually go down. Maybe in half a year, maybe in a year. I don't think older Ottawa females will live much longer too so it will leave Skorro Jr, Sassy and cubs.

I know he’s been tested (shows the branding) but I don’t believe those results are ever published.   Any comments towards him having the disease would be just speculation based on his frail condition.

Tested? What branding? Im quite sure he hasnt been tested.

Limper has some health issues, but without test we cant know what it is.

Look at his left hip.   That marking that looks like a scar is made by the organization that does the testing.  I call it a Branding….not sure how they make it or the proper name.
