There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.

considering that male tigers on average are about 70-100kg heavier than the females, I would assume that the female is about 120kg and Munna about 200kg.

Son of Bamera. Awesome slowmo.

There was some debate in our jeep about who this Tiger could be. But I said BAMERA'S son right away because I could see BAMERA in his eyes, size and swagger. We saw him as we were losing light, hence the grain in the image. Was able to verify it is indeed BAMERA's 5 year old son through the KANKATI female. Back in 2014 he had a smalller head than his brother so we used to call him SMALLHEAD. I think that name will have to be revised now.

Sharing a video of the erstwhile Digdola Male a.k.a Jr.Banda # 2, February 2008. He happens to be the father of current Karai Ghati Male (T-2). Pardon the poor video quality (due to FB compression) as well as the BG music.
Sadly, this handsome Male as well as his radio-collared Brother died quite young, in territorial fights with rival males.

@Pckts

Ive never knew that junior banda had kids, since both junior banda 1 and 2 died quite young.
Can you verify this with some kanha experts.
If its true, then its good news.
Atleast they passed on the legendary Banda genes.
