Just rewatch the livestream and I will try to put all the things on what happened this Sunrise and Sunset Safari:
Morning
1. Nkuhumas have a waterbuck kill in Torchwood
2. Two Mantimahle Sons chased the Nkuhumas off the kill.
3. Nkuhumas regroup in Djuma
4. Three or Four Kambulas is in Djuma with one Imbali lioness and seems like she walked in the way where the Nkuhumas are and the NK caught her. (numbers of Kambulas is 3 or 4 as said/seen by Cedric)
5. Cedric heard a fight and said that it the sounds like a lion killing a lion and seems that the Nkuhumas found the one Imbali lioness and attacked her. (No information if Kambulas join in the attack but it seems impossible as the Kambulas are not aggressive to her in morning.)
Afternoon
1. Two Kambulas and Whole Nkuhuma Pride is resting, seems like the Kambulas is tolerating the Young NK Male.
2. Cedric found the dead Imbali lioness and concluded that it happened in morning.
3. K4 killed a buffalo calf and K3 is scent marking, while NKuhumas is waiting for their turn.

They are already over 6 years old, while historically if you look at formely and currently dominant males in Sabi Sands, they all (exept Othawa male?) got dominant (or at least attempt) being between 4 and 5 years old. One can think that if they already are not ready to fight other males, take teritorry and hold it, then they never will.

I think the fact we know very little about them actually helps most of us believe they are that more intimidating than they already are looks wise. We see two very big males with a lot of meaningful scars from past fights and know they stay primarily in KNP, which most us believe is a harder place to become territorial without really knowing what coalitions they’ve been surrounded by.

The only real encounters we know of them having was when they were with 5th Mantimahle and were chased by S.Avoca in their prime. We also see their half brothers, PCMs and Nkhulus, and believe that they must have the same aggressive nature as them too.

Great job keeping us updated with all info of the action provided by WildEarth. Really unfortunate for the Imbali female to go out like that, hopefully the rest of the pride stays safe, they already suffered big losses in just a couple of months.

Glad all Nkuhumas are comfortable with Kambula males, and that the boys are tolerating the ym... Correct me if im wrong but im pretty sure that happened before, some months ago as K4 and K5 were with all Nkuhuma pride and the young male being tolerated.

I understand ur point and partially agree. But being very honest, i think its highly unlikely they wont turn a key (if not already) that they have enough numbers to not flee.
I've said this already a few months ago and i say it again: the only coalition they dont outnumber in the entire Sabi Sands (and even Manyeleti) are the Nkuhlu males. And guess what? Far from their range and not a threat to where they have settled, or atleast try to.

They chased the 4 Kambula twice within one/two weeks iirc. Some can say thats not really impressive since all territorial duos of nowdays have chased the 4 already, but still. Chasing 4 fully grown males in addition 5 sub adult males of hamilton and other i forgot, requires alot of confidence and character for sure.

I was more on about their past skirmishes that some ppl in here prolly don’t know about, I agree with them chasing the K4 as an impressive feat too. They didn’t know anything about these boys but didn’t hesitate and won both encounters, that’s the type of mentality needed to win these encounters while being outnumbered, the type of mentality we failed to see with the BDMs.

Seems like they only chased 3 Kambulas as the last sighting of the Kambulas are the three (K3, K5, and K6) with 2 or 3 Nkuhumas in Djuma, when the 2 Mantimahle Sons did come to Djuma K4 is nowhere near them as he is on a honeymoon with a NK female at West or South of Djuma and K4 seems to me is the most aggressive and territorial out of the 4 of them. K4 is also seen roaring in the North even though the 2 Mantimahle Sons and 1 or 2 Ndzenghas(northern most part of the Ndzenghas territory) are there in the past days. Seems like K4 leading the 3 is the key for their coalition to out the Mantimahle Sons in the North as he have chased the Dark Mane Mantimahle Sons with K3 before with K4 leading the chase, as we also see that he is the one to 1st approach the Kruger Male when they saw him and also the time when K4 is all alone roaring and trying to mate with Chela or other NK females before and after Chela was presumedly killed by the PCM also Ndzenghas are also there at that time. And also, the time when K4 mistakenly attacked K5 with Red Road you can clearly see that K4 is always there when there is a fight but K4 being stupid mistakenly attack K5, but imagine if he did attack Red Road and not K5 at that time, Red Road might have a serious injury as you can see on K5 injuries what K4 could have inflicted to Red Road.

Oh sorry, when i said "within a week" i meant chasing them twice during a week, but not exactly so recently. It was actually a couple of months or something like that and they did chase all 4.
Idk about them chasing the Kambulas more recently but it seems they kept them on their toes from Manyeleti to back into northern Sabi Sands.

Yes K4 is definitly the most confident of the 4, no doubts! If all brothers were as confident as he is, they would already be dominants over Nkuhumas (imo).
But since thats not the case we can only hope they will eventually turn a key.
Btw do u have acess to the link of WildEarth live when K3 and K4 chased Dark Maned Mantimahle? I just saw screenshots and some short cuts on youtube....

Yes I do and you can only watch it when you have a membership to WildEarth as the video is on a membership lock but here is the link (livestream when K4 and K3 chased DM Mantimahle Sons), from what I can remember the Kambulas have a kill in Buffelshoek at that time and maybe the DM Mantimahle smelt it but K4 and K3 gave chase to DM Mantimahle heading down south to Djuma and chasing him again when they spotted him they did seem to be on a mission to fight/kill him but the area they are at have many thick brushes and DM escaped. Two Kambulas head back to Buffelshoek to their kill and it did seem like there have been a scuffle as those 3 males have scratches on their faces.

Throwaway comment from James on WildEarth but he said that the Mantimahtle males were chased off of a waterbuck kill by the Nzdenga (N'Waswitshaka) males.

Seems like the Ndzenghas being in their northern most territory have chased out the Mantinmahle Sons to the waterbuck kill they stole from the Nkuhumas according to James during WildEarth Sunset Safari.

As you can see below both Ndzenghas is in their northern territory in the past days, seems plausible that it did happen.

Where was waterbuck kill exactly? Strange that Ndhzengas went so far north.

Torchwood Area we do not know where exactly in Torchwood, in the past the northern most that they had travelled to is Chitwa but it seems with all the action in North it attracted the Ndzenghas to go further north.

Yea, Torchwood is quite north for them.

How reliable is this info?

It is said by James, the presenter earlier in the morning and it seems that the guides in Torchwood told everyone on the radio before livestream or when James is not on camera that the Ndzenghas chased the Mantinmahle Sons of the waterbuck kill they stole from Nkuhumas.
