Wow Nym is such a social lion so I wonder what possibly happened between the two? We’ve seen that S Avoca can share kills but he definitely still tries to be dominant (he and the Kambula boys shared a kill not too long ago)
Hopefully the video helps. I was hoping Nym and Khanya talamati would meet up again.
Do we know an accurate location?

I would assume this is a new development?  NK has always seemed like that happy friendly guy.  I find it odd he would have fought with S. Avoca, unless S. Avoca left it as a no choice situation.
This is what i would assume as well. Bboys NK male is not much of a fighter so im definitely surprised he fought an aging warrior.

Well hopefully s.avoca male isnt too injured considering he's been looking quite bad lately

Nkuhuma male has been showing a more dominant side to him recently, chasing the Styx Pride and whatnot. I doubt he’d have started a fight with a fully healthy Southern Avoca, most likely just realised his weakness and acted on it.

There’s a second theory.

S Avoca was seen w the Styx Pride. This could have been just fighting over food.

Both Floppy Ear and S Avoca showed scarring.

So it’s plausible that was it. And Nkuhuma had nothing to do with it.

Poor sad and lonely boy.  I would guess this is just who he'll be now until the end.  Sad

Well.. Certainly not giving up, though, might not have been the smartest attempt.  LOL

Desperate times calls for desperate measures. Lol. He looks like he’s not had a good meal in a while. So the drive to accost some food is undoubtedly more intense which will result in him taking risks he may not have taken in his prime, even with his brother by his side. I will say, despite his condition he is moving with a lot of zest and speed. Perseverance still thrives fiercely within him. Or maybe it’s just that intense instinct to live which drives most living beings. He doesn’t appear to be suffering. So I hope he gets a meal soon and can keep going a little while longer.

While he clearly once looked better, he obviously has some source of food otherwise he would have passed a long time ago.

I think this was the very end of an attempt to hunt that obviously ended when they crossed the river, so its hard to tell how "desperate" the original attempt was.
Lions aren't that good of hunters in general, so seeing a hunt fail isn't indicative of a poor health, infact, his movements and body shape suggest anything but.

Maybe he can rally at long last, after mourning his missing brother for months and months.  Maybe can just find it in him to find the will to live again without him.  After all, he's only 11 years old and I'd like to see him survive to 15, give or take.

Sighting of Southern Avoca.  He looks like he's getting in better shape.  Maybe he'll hang around for a few more years.  Would love to see him lead one of the younger coalitions for a couple of years.  Yes... I know it's unlikely.

Tengile is down in the very south of Sabi Sands right? Any idea how far he is from where Mohawk was last spotted? Would be incredible if they ended up teaming up after all these years.

Last time he was seen, Mohawk was by himself.

The S.Avoca if lucky, will find Tumbela/NK and join them.

In an unexpected turn of events Mohawk is seen alone seemingly in bad shape while his brother is getting better.
