Let's hope he's not sick and is just having bad luck hunting recently.

Im slightly concerned, considering his brothers both had some sort of disease. But I will remain optimistic and think that hes just been missing good meals recently

Well if he didn’t eat anything in 2 days, which he obiviously didn't based of his empty stomach, ofc he would be even thinner, that has nothing to do with disease or idk what.

If lion eats and is thin with regular meals and full bellies, then we should be concerned.

Lions arent build to store lots of energy in fatlayers. They dont need to to stay warm in africa. Nor is it a good way to store energy when you need a lot of it fast during hunts.

As a result. It takes a lot more for a lion to visually look fat and they also develop that famine look rather fast. Even if they still have plenty of energy left.

Keep in mind that it can still take 2 weeks after a good meal before a lion has to start cannibalizing on itself on a cellular level and a drop in condition can be expected. And even after that it can take weeks to fully starve.

@Tr1x24 his daughters are in Ulusaba and him in Savanna, they are in good condition which may imply he is not keeping up with them.

Male lions don't spend all their time with their pride. On his end he may leave to patrol his territory or seek out sex.
While a pride may avoid or chase of their male lions for a little while to get some more peace and food for themselves.

Its just a quirky little thing lions do in their normal daily lives. Not necessary a sign of illness or some larger conflict between him or the pride.

Or may imply they just split for whatever reason.

With no signs of any disease, limp or injury, can definitely follow anybody for days.

I remember Imbali/s8 male looked very thin month or so ago, people where already claiming he is dying lol.

Guys, wild lions will look like this occasionaly, its normal, this is not a ZOO so they get fed regulary.

@Duco Ndona They are hardly a pride and pride male, but nomads that are living together because they are related.

Skorro Jr has no territory nor anything to patrol, he isn't a pride male in the traditional sense.

True, he wont roar or scent mark and its not like he actually owns the land. But he still sticks to the same area mostly which he wanders around in looking for food, scentmarks etc rather than wandering all over Sabi Sands.

The point was more that he and his daughters are not joined to the hip.

Though to be fair I heard he was with them in the sighting where he was laying down thin, it was on day 12, photo from post #1,022 is more recent.

I agree with guys.
He looked normal on Instagram I looked up yesterday.
But he's pathetic to be alone and do everything on his own.
I hope he meets his friends' union as soon as possible.?

I was reading the pedigree forum in Birmingham.
I think Nhena is a famous name.
I don't know the details, but I think Nkuhuma and a guy broke up after being a duo.
(I guess Nhena made a duo with his son? It's fascinating.

Whose son is Nk?
It looks like you're close to Skorro.
I don't think Skorro is an aggressive lion, so what if the two of them combine hip?
At least it would be more helpful than living alone as a nomad.
