There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.

Wow! Seems like an old bull. Impressive. In which territory is he now presently? In the Western sector?

This boy (Skorro Jr.) is really a warrior.
I bet that he would be hard to beat if had a healthy partner. Wishing him long life and finding a partner!!

Imaging Scorro Jr teamed up with the 2 PC Boys? Wow that would be something. A 3 male coalition consisting of 3 incredible, aggressive, huge boys!

Will be interesting to see if Skorro Jr. turns his eye onto lone dominant males like Imbali or Kruger males.

If he stays around northern Sabi Sands, it wont take him long to figure that its a fair fight.

While it will be a 1v1 against either of those males, I do not like Skorro Jr's chances in this case. Both the Imbali and Kruger males are more experienced and in their absolute prime.

We dont know how would those clashes go.

If we are talking about absolute prime, then thats Skorro Jr. , as he will soon turn 7 yrs old in few months, while Imbali and Kruger male should be 9 this year, maybe even close to 10 soon, both males are assumed to be born during 2013, Imbali might be even older (we dont know for sure). Both males still look great, but Skorro Jr. is 2-3 yrs younger.

As for experience, yes, Imbali is definitely more experience in 1vs1 department, as he is lone, dominant male for quite some time,  but both Skorro Jr and Kruger male had partners until this year, so i think they are in similar position here.

I think that a lion able to survive a 2 vs 1 fight and hunted a buffalo by himself, like Skorro Jr did, is a threat for any single lion.
