There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.

The large Tumbela male confidently patrolling his territory.
We were very lucky to see this male up on the move, as it was a super hot and humid summers day.
As sunset grew closer this male started his patrol a-bit early, aggressively roaring and patrolling, only pausing to listen to any response.

I suppose Limper contributes more than we think. My theory is that Limper might have contributed in chasing out Talamtis. Although his condition isn't the best, he definitely has the spirit to protect his territory like his brother

I think that Limper is far healthier than people make him out to be.
Sure he has that limp on bad days. But he also has his own solo adventures separated from his brother and the pride.

I was going to say same thing.   It’s PCMs.  Singita location also matches.

Must be a pretty old sighting then since the second still has the light mane.

Skoro junior seems to be best father ever. In 90 percent of his photos , he is either playing with his cubs or roaring to save his territory from PC males/ talamatis

I echo these sentiments.  It’s one of the traits I most like about this lion and makes me quite fond of him.
