Now old avocas/ giraffe were sired by old Ross males, am not sure who were the fathers of lone giraffe male.
If he was also sired by old Ross males, then six black dam boys and YBM are cousins.
Otherwise, I dunno what to call them, half cousins.

Lone Giraffe male was brother (sired also by Old Ross/Giraffe males) of Avoca/Giraffes, he was just younger and left behind as his brothers move out of the pride.

Any chance that the 6 Blackdam Males bump into BYM and TYM, and end up fighting??
Definitelly there is. As it stands by now, both sets of males are more or less in the same region and both will be looking for a pride to take over (Birmingham/Torchwood were already mating with some of Avoca pride females while Black Dams did not make any move yet towards takeover any pride through they are looking very much ready to make such move in near future).

Did the BYM have a little battle with the two Black Dam males a few months ago.

Thank u for the info. I hope it does not happen because could be the end for one of my favorite lions.

It is very likely that an altercation occurred between two of the Blackdam males and BYM, causing injuries to BYM a few months ago. I hope they don't have any other because could be the end of BYM and/or TYM.

At the time, the YBM wasn't fully committed to his coalition partner. He was even seen feeding in a carcass with his pride but since then, the two have not left each other's side so I'm not too worried about the two of them for now

They definitely have a solid bond, NK and Styx male never seemed as tight as these 2 even though they were half-brothers and these 2 are not as closely related. How old are BDMs btw, not even 5 yet right?

No evidence that BYM fighted 2 BDM's, only pure guess as they where close by, but he could also fight other lions aswell.

Based of what you are guessing that Nwalungu males didn't have close bond? I dont think thats the case, from their sightings they where close as any other duo (few videos of them cudling, bonding, even licking each other faces, videos of them together operating vs Kambula subs, Mhangenis, PC boys etc, they got separated only 1 time since they where together, prob after they got chased by Bboys, but reunited few days after).

BDM's are not 5 yet, they are born from mid 2017 to late 2017.

Chance is the same as for any 2 coalitions that get in each others way, for now theres 0 indication that these 2 coalitions will be rivals as we still dont know where will BDM's end up, they are still not contesting territory.

If they stay where they are, their first rival will be Mapoza male.

Just a general feeling from all the interactions of them I saw online. Nothing too solid.

Its hard to tell.
A lion may be grooming just to get a ally now. Only to stab him in the back later. While another lion may seem more distant, but would go through hell and back for his partners.

Ultimately it did not matter. Sym is death and Nym is alive. Unless he had a paw in pointlessly killing him himself. Nym made the right choice.

You're completely right, that is why said "very likely" because is not for sure.
