It's presumably expensive, I believe it was done by Panthera.
Also I think with Lions, the territory of the coalitions is usually centered around a pride or multiple pride so its easier to know which coalition the fathers are. whereas with Leopards it's a lot more loose, you can have a female whos territory might sit at the junction between multiple males.
Although given how big the lion following community is, it could definitely be crowdfunded if people wanted lol

It is also much easier to collect poop from a particular individual due to solitary nature of leopards :) A female lion could in theory never be alone her whole life. To my understanding in case of leopards they usually collect a sample in the course of sightings when the primary goal is also getting the individual cub(s) more habituated to car and human presence. Sooner or later the guide would witness a defecation they could collect after the sighting. I can imagine with whole pride it could be more of a hustle, especiall with concurrent litters of same age. They would still need to collect the "parents" samples as well as I don't think they have any to compare new sample with. And the smell would be notably worse as leopard urine is said to smell popcorn due to certain chemical the two "products" actually share :)
2 lionesses caught and killed a hyena in Singita, not sure who they are (Hosana leopard was involved, so based of his territory, somewhere in northern Singita, so might be Nkuhuma females, althrough im not sure) :
