That male lost a bit of condition and mane, before he had much larger mane then his brother with scared nose.

Dunno, to my eye he looks perfectly fine and healty. His many is not particularly big, but not small either. His muscle mass also looks very good, it is just that the other male look much taller and proportianally to height he has bigger muscle mass + he has bigger mane full belly and therefore overally looks much bigger.
