There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.

The beautiful Sumatra male lion relaxing with the Ross Pride Breakaway lionesses. The Sumatra male appears to be enjoying the company of the Ross legends, and hasn't left their side. A while ago he was mating with them, so we're hoping that he Ross girls might produce a few cubs.

The Mbiri males relaxing during the heat of the day. These two males are often seen on our traverse in the company of two females. The day we spotted these males, the females were nowhere to be seen!

stature. What a burgeoning king! This youngster is part of the mega-pride of lions called the Dundee Pride, which is from the area around the east block of the Klaserie.
The pride is 23 members strong but there are various split offs and sub-groups - we managed to watch 15 lions devour a buffalo kill!
