There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.
All cute and adorable until they taste blood. This lioness from the Black dam pride of lions here at royalmalewane in South Africa, needed to lay down the law regarding feeding hierarchy that needs to be understood by each lion weaker than her. I'm really pulling for this guy. The Ross males have been rough on him, but he perseveres. If he can make it, I think he has a chance to become such a magnificent beast.
He is a very beautiful and massive boy, for his age is has a very good size and his paw are much bigger than the Ross males, which are much older than him.
He's massive. When you watch videos of him walking with pride lionesses he is a monster in comparison. So much potential in this guy. Here he was attempting to mount one of the pride lionesses back in June. It begins at 5:14. Given this was in June, he is clearly limping, and he has grown a lot since then.

This is an even better example. At 3:07 you can see him walking next to a lioness, and he is massive.

His limp also improved a lot,I always had hope for this boy he was persistent and strong, that makes the spirit of a warrior, perhaps he will be nicknamed as "phoenix" lol, those leg injuries are the most hard to survive and afront it,he has became a legend on just months!

No limp? I think thats impossible.. He was still limping just few weeks ago..and his limp looks like something is dislocated, so it will prob never fully heal..

Still limping but not that bad as it was.. I dont think that will ever fully heal but who knows..
Maybe limp improved to the point where is hardly noticeable.. I hope thats the truth.
I understand, and also i know that he prob never can healed 100%, but in that sighting he not was with a limp,so prob he has better day and bad days. Like Blondie Avoca male,I will send a screenshot of the answer of David.

Caption: This young male lion, backlit by the rising sun, was soaking up some heat on a cold winters morning.
We had entered at Orpen Gate and this was the first sighting of the day to greet us. There were five lions in total and they preceded to move off after a few minutes.
