There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.

They might take 3 Black Dam brokeaway females. They should be around 3 years old by now and ready to mate if not now then in the next couple of months.

Ross males still dont show any agression towards him anymore, since the injury they are quite tolerate towards him, he was lying just few meters from Tyson.

African Lion (Black dam male)
A majestic male African Lion patrolling his territory in Kruger National Park.
Male lions go to great lengths to mark their parcel of land, which can be up to 100 square miles. They will mark their scent and leave scuff marks as a visual cue to other lions to stop them from intruding on their pride's territory.
Unfortunately, lions have been classified as vulnerable species due to a sharp decline in their population in African countries since 1990’s.

Mbiri males at Simbavati

A formidable brotherhood built on courage, strength and power. They keep a low profile amidst two sets of rival males in the northern part of Timbavati.

Holding onto a territory can be tricky. If they hunt in prey-dense areas, the chances of bumping into other lions with the same intent are high. The odd evidence of a carcass, scent on medium length trees, are all clues to the dominant males that intruders are among them.
